Our Story

As the founder of Empowered Lacrosse, my hope is to help another generation experience the same joy and benefits I received through playing lacrosse.  Girls are unfortunately still bombarded with negative messages about body image, and strong-willed women are often disparaged in the media.  Whereas sports not only develops, but celebrates confidence, strong bodies and strong leaders.  It is well established that girls who participate in sports are high achievers in their chosen careers. ~ Carolyn Keber
